We met eight years ago at work. We worked together and at first we would just chat and joke around. As time went by, we got to know each other better and better, until one day we went out for a ride on the motorbike. Even though it was summer, we got caught in an incredible downpour and ended up completely soaked. We decided to get married in Spetses because it\u2019s where Nasia is from. We have so many beautiful memories there, many of our friends are there, and every time we visit the island we feel surrounded by a sense of freedom. First of all, we had Bisky, our dog, with us. She could never be missing from such an important moment. The best \u2013 and the worst \u2013 wedding decisions we made\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Honestly, the best and worst decision was the same one: organizing everything ourselves.
\nOn the one hand, it was the best choice because the wedding turned out exactly as we had imagined it, down to the last detail. On the other hand, it was also the hardest, because the whole process involved stress, running around and lots of decisions. To be honest, no, we didn\u2019t follow any specific tradition. On the contrary, we decided to have the wedding exactly the way it felt right to us. We slept together the night before, we didn\u2019t stick to formalities and \u201cmusts\u201d because they don\u2019t really represent us.<\/p>\n

The only thing we kept was the custom where friends dress the bride and groom. They were three absolutely full-on days \u2013 friends, outings, swims, drinks and an energy that never stopped. Everything was so intense and beautiful.
\nBut if we had to single out one moment, it would be the end of the wedding, after dinner, when we had a small party just with our friends, exactly as we had imagined it. What I loved most about my wedding dress was that it was completely \u201cme\u201d. Boho, in line with my own style and taste \u2013 simple yet modern, with a hint of something vintage.
